07.10.11 - Wild Grinders series on Nicktoons
Anna is currently scoring "Wild Grinders" - a new animated series for Home Plate Entertainment (USA) and Telegael (Ireland), to be broadcast throughout 2012 on Nicktoons. The series is inspired by skateboarder Rob Dyrdek and executive produced by Bill Schultz (The Simpsons, King of the Hill).
29.09.11 - 05.11.11 - Juno and the Paycock - Abbey Theatre main stage
Anna has just completed her score for Sean O'Casey's classic stage play "Juno and the Paycock" - the inaugural co-production between the Abbey Theatre (Ireland's national theatre) and the Royal National Theatre of Great Britain.
The play is directed by Howard Davies features set design by Bob Crowley and features an all-Irish cast, led by Ciarán Hinds and Sinéad Cusack. Anna's score, recorded by some of Ireland's finest musicians, is traditionally Irish in sound and features flute/whistle player Emer Maycock, vocalist Íse, multi-instrumentalist Ewan Cowley, fiddle player Lynda O'Connor and bassist Joe Csibi. In mid-November, the production transfers to the National Theatre in London, where it will feature on the Lyttleton Theatre stage until early 2012.
29.11.10 - Age of the Do-Gooders - BBC2 (9pm, Mondays from 29.11.10)
Anna recently scored the title music to BBC2 Documentary Series Age of the Do-Gooders (dir. Debbie Lee / Helena Braun for Wingspan Productions). Presenter Ian Hislop rescues the reputation of the maverick 'Do-Gooders' who he believes fixed the 19th century's version of 'broken Britain' in this new history series. Irresistibly easy to mock, these busy bodies are highly unfashionable today. But they are heroes to Ian - extraordinary men and women who precipitated the most remarkable period of social change in British history.
21.09.10 - Athena Tergis - a week in collaboration
Anna is in Montalcino, Italy this week, hosted by internationally-renowned fiddle player Athena Tergis. This week of collaboration at Athena's idyllic Terra Luna Studio comes a year after Anna and Athena first met, through the Dublin Philharmonic's 49-city tour of the USA in Spring 2009, for which Athena featured as fiddle soloist for Anna's orchestral arrangements of traditional Irish repertoire, to critical acclaim.

The group, all members of the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, comprises some of Ireland's finest classical performers, and was founded in August 2008. They performed the piece at the Ireland Pavilion at the Shanghai Expo as part of the Irish Cultural Programme of events.
